Sweetwater Music Keys offers a premium piano lesson. Piano lessons are offered in groups, partners, and privately. A lot of resources and effort are put into making sure that students get to explore many different styles of music and all aspects of learning the piano. We use Piano Safari for the first years to get students playing musically and reading confidently. Festivals and recitals are offered, as well as competitions if students are interested. I work with each student to create artistry in their playing. As we obtain grants and donations, scholarships will become available for families that need it.
All piano lessons have a $50 materials/registration fee per year in addition to tuition. Registration fee is $25 for siblings.
Group Piano
Group piano is a great way for students to get started! Group lessons make piano fun and affordable. In our group lessons, we will play together, move to music, and learn fun songs as we start basic skills. Small groups of 6 or less students.
Tuition is $200/semester, payable at $50/month. This includes 14 lessons and students can join a semester recital if desired.
Group piano for ages 7-11 - Thursday 4:30-5:30. Students who have not finished 1st grade should take pre-piano 2 first.
Group piano for teens: offered by request
Piano Partners
Piano partners gives students a piano friend for games and duets and is also a good option for sibling pairs. Partner lessons are 45 minutes in length. Some of that time is spent in private instruction, some lab time, and some activities with their partner.
Tuition for a semester is $300 payable at $75/month. This includes 13 lessons, 1 performance class, a festival and a final recital. Supplemental materials may need to be purchased by families on occasion.
Private Piano Lessons
Private piano lessons are 60 minutes. 30 minutes are with the instructor and 30 min are spent in lab time, where students have activities to work on sight-reading, rhythm, music reading, theory, ear training, history and composition.
Tuition for a semester is $400 payable at $100/month. This includes 13 private lessons, one performance class, a festival, and one recital. Supplemental materials may need to be purchased by families on occasion.
