Emily Durrant has a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from BYU. She has been teaching piano and music for over 20 years, to students from ages 0-80 both privately and in groups. Emily is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) through MTNA. She is passionate about helping each student develop a love of music and find artistry and musicianship. She is a firm believe that making music is for everyone! Emily is an active member of the Wyoming Music Teacher's Association, and currently serves as president of the Southwest Chapter. She is an active performer in the community, specializing in accompanying. She is a licensed and certified Musikgarten teacher. She has also had training in Kodaly method and is always continuing her education with workshops and conferences.
In non-musical fun, Emily is the mother of four children. She enjoys gardening, cooking, ice skating and running.
